My look is typical of what I wear to go shopping or running errands in the once foreign land I have now made home. My little city of Wujong, in Jiangsu province, China has been bountiful in amazing fashion and shopping. A lot of the pieces making up my outfit were found in the little strip of shops just behind me, and finding them has been a lesson in acculturation as I learn to bargain and sharpen my Mandarin shopping vocabulary with each purchase! In this outfit, though, you’ll notice I have also held on to my roots, and my attachment to the other cities I have had love affairs with: Atlanta for five years, Lille, France for one. I still incorporate my favorite vintage and thrifted pieces I collected over my time in Atlanta and have been wearing forever, and that giant scarf I bought when I lived in France that has kept me warm for nearly five winters now!

Trench, boots, gloves: Wujong fashion markets
Socks and purse: Vintage, thrifted in Atlanta
Oversize scarf: Boutique in Lille, France

    wtf is ZOMBIE LACE?

This is a spinoff of the original vintage fashion blog that started it all for me, "Zombie Lace" (http://zombielace.blogspot.com). However, as that blog is hosted through blogger.com, it is inaccessible to me in China, so my strange need to talk about my clothes spills out here.
